On the first day of the NFL league year, the Steelers made the trade of Diontae Johnson to Carolina for cornerback Donte Jackson official. The deal also includes a swap of the Steelers’ 7th round draft pick this year for the Panthers’ 6th round choice.
The Steelers also came to terms with All-Pro special teamer Miles Killebrew on a reported two-year deal and with long snapper Christian Kuntz on a reported multi-year contract.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph has left the Steelers to sign with the Tennessee Titans. It’s a one-year deal worth $3.62 million.
