The White Township Supervisors approved two resolutions regarding sewer planning at their meeting Wednesday afternoon.
One resolution was for a vacant lot subdivision for S&S&S, which will be located in the Shelly Drive area of the township. The other is for the Indiana County VA Outpatient Clinic at the intersection of IRMC Drive and South 6th Street, which is expected to open within a year.
Township Manager Chris Anderson outlined the timeline for the clinic’s construction.
In other business, Supervisors discussed hosting an Emergency Services Expo at the White Township Recreation Complex.
Communications/PR Specialist Chauncey Ross said it would be a great way to get children interested in working with emergency service providors.
It will take place June 29 from 10-2 and features several vendors and demonstrations, such as Life Flight and IRMC.
