An Indiana man is due in court today for two motions hearings.
Court documents say 27-year-old Tyrone Thomas III is due before President Judge Thomas Bianco for the hearings. In one case, he is charged with simple assault, harassment and contempt for violation of a court order for an incident on September 23rd.
The other case comes from charges filed the next day, which includes resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension, evading arrest on foot and disorderly conduct. Indiana Borough Police said that they tried to serve an arrest warrant on Thomas in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street when he started to flee. He was eventually apprehended by police.
