The Pirates gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning and lost to Baltimore, 7-6, Saturday in Grapefruit League action.
Pittsburgh was led by Adam Frazier, who drove in three runs. Frazier’s two-run single gave the Pirates a 3-2 lead in the second.
In the fifth, Gift Ngoepe tripled to center and scored on Frazier’s infield out.
The loss snapped a four-game winning and left the Pirates with an 11-4 record.
