A Blairsville woman pleaded guilty to a charge connected with the shooting of her boyfriend in 2021.
During a session of plea court held yesterday, 30-year-old Matraca Lynn Vrana entered a guilty plea to a charge of third-degree murder. Other charges will not be prosecuted as part of the plea deal. Police say that on September 30th of that year, she was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, 27-year-old Matthew Hill of Blairsville when she picked up a rifle and shot him in the head.
Vrana remains in Indiana County Jail at this time, and will be sentenced on June 5th.
