The Indiana Area School board is expected to get an update on the Eisenhower Elementary School construction project Monday night, and will deal with some change orders as well. Among the major items before the board will be the purchase of kitchen equipment for the school, which has been closed since an April, 2021 fire. The price tag for that equipment is over $560,000.
The full board meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Policy & Personnel Committee, and among their topics will be graduation attire and adornments on caps and gowns, and the rules for public comment at school board meetings.
Purchase Line’s school board will continue its work on refreshing school district policies and will also look to appoint coaches for the fall sports, including football, volleyball, cross country, and cheerleading. There are also two teacher retirements and several other personnel decisions on the agenda.
