Several plea and sentencing hearings are set for today in Indiana County Court, including one for a man charged with a shooting last November in Burrell Township.
32-year-old Christopher Michael Wisor of Blairsville will go before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco at 8:30 this morning. Wisor pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, and carrying a firearm without a license on May 11th to charges related to the November 7th shooting at a home along Liekert Avenue in Blairsville. Wisor was at the home of an un-named 47-year-old man, and the two got into an argument that ended when Wisor fired three shots from a revolver outside the home.
Also due for a plea and sentencing hearing today is Jordan Lee Shupe, who is charged in connection with an incident on July 28th, 2019 shooting in Young Township. Shupe allegedly followed a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Paul Swarden and fired a shot from a handgun at the intersection of Birds Road and Blue Jay Lane. Two people, Brieanna Lapay and a then-three-year-old boy, were in the car with Swarden at the time. When Shupe saw investigators at his home, he sped away, but was eventually caught with the gun he allegedly fired. His hearing is also set for 8:30 this morning.
