State police have accused three people with agricultural vandalism for driving through some crops in Buffington Township between 11 PM last Saturday and 6 AM on Sunday.
Police say that 20-year-olds Logan Penrose and Donald Shroyer, along with 19-year-old Mason Tantlinger, drove through a farm field with planted corn and alfalfa at a property on Camerons Road before driving onto the road itself and knocking some mailboxes over with an unknown tool on Camerons and Shortcut roads. Police found the truck parked about a mile away with fresh mud and some of the alfalfa stuck to its wheels and underbelly.
Police estimate the trio damaged about $1,000 worth of crops and $175 in mailboxes.
