Action kicks off tonight in the Youth Legion – West tournament with area teams in action.
Kuntz Field in Punxsutawney will be the host site for this year’s tournament with eight teams set to compete this weekend – one being from Indiana County.
Marion Center – who claimed the 2021 Indiana County Youth Legion League Championship on Saturday against S.W. Jack – is slated in the B-bracket as the third seed, and will take on first seed Connellsville – a Westmoreland County representative.
M.C. will have the early game tomorrow morning, playing at 10 a.m. against second seed Millcreek. They will then play Conneaut on Sunday at 4 p.m.
The championship will be played Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock, and the third-place game will precede that game at 10 a.m.
