The Armstrong-Indiana Intermediate Unit has announced their new executive director has started her work, taking over for the retiring James Wagner.
Dr. Brigette Matson has already assumed her duties as the new executive director of ARIN. Prior to her post, she was the assistant superintendent of the Dubois Area School District. She was also an assistant superintendent, a k-12 principal of curriculum and instruction, and the elementary school principal for the Brookville School District and supervisor of special education and student services and speech language pathologist for Ridgway Area School District.
Matson earned her doctorate in Education and Administration from IUP, and her Masters in speech language pathology and a bachelor of science in communication sciences and disorders from Clarion University.
