Fresh off an impressive win over Virginia Tech, Pitt will travel to South Carolina tonight to tip off against Clemson. The Panthers are 18-9 overall, and the Tigers are 19-8, and both are 9-7 in the ACC, good for a fifth-place tie in the conference standings. But Clemson has the advantage, with a win over Pitt, 79-70 on December 3rd to start the ACC schedule.
The top four teams get a double bye in the ACC Tournament. Pitt has three more games left on the schedule after tonight, against Boston College, Florida State, and NC State, which is currently the fourth-place ACC team. The tournament begins March 12th.
Tonight’s game tips off at 7. We’re on the air on WCCS at 6:30.
