Sidney Crosby scored the 1,000th point of his career, assisting Chris Kunitz in the first period, as the Penguins topped the Winnipeg Jets, 4-3, in overtime last night in Pittsburgh.
Crosby became the 86th player in NHL history to reach 1,000 career points. Marc-Andre Fleury made 44 saves in the win.
