The Purchase Line School District has hired Matt Falisec to take over its varsity football program.
Falisec, a 1995 graduate of Purchase Line and a social studies teacher at the school, was hired Monday night following the resignation of Brandon Overdorff, who had been the head coach since 2012.
Falisec played tight end for the Red Dragons under principal and former coach Jim Price in the early ’90s. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2000 and was hired by the school district in 2002. Falisec was an assistant coach under former Red Dragons coach Dave Small.
