A pair of structure fires was reported in Indiana County earlier today.
Fire crews from Indiana, Marion Center, Clymer and Plumville, along with the RIT team and Citizens Ambulance Service, were dispatched for a structure fire around 12:40 this afternoon to a home along Chambersville Hill Road in Rayne Township.
According to a Facebook post from the Marion Center Fire Department, a neighbor called Indiana County 9-1-1 stating that a lot of smoke was coming from the home.
Many crews were canceled en route as the homeowner had it under control, and the cause of the fire was a wood burner, according to area scanner feeds. No injuries were reported.
The second fire was reported around 9 this morning, where Saltsburg and Tunnelton fire crews, along with Citizens Ambulance, were called out to a structure fire along Clark St. in Conemaugh Township. No additional details on this fire are available yet.
