Steelers coach Mike Tomlin continues to reshape his coaching staff in the offseason. Mike Sullivan has had his job title changed, from quarterbacks coach to “senior offensive assistant”. Tom Arth was previously hired as the new quarterbacks coach.
Tomlin has hired another member of offensive coordinator Arthur Smith’s former Atlanta staff. Matt Baker has been added as an offensive assistant. He was Smith’s special teams coach with the Falcons.
Ex-Boston College strength and conditioning coach Phil Matusz will take over the same position with the Steelers, replacing Marcel Pastoor, who left after 23 years with the Steelers. Justus Galaz joins Tomlin’s staff to assist Matusz.
Roderick Moore is hired as the new “sports science coordinator for strength and conditioning. He’s another former Falcons assistant.
