The IUP basketball teams host Seton Hill tonight at the KCAC, with the women looking to clinch a PSAC playoff spot and the men having already locked up their slot in the tournament.
The IUP women are 18-5 and 14-4 in the PSAC, while the Griffins are 13-11 and 10-8. IUP won 75-66 when they played at Seton Hill on January 24th. IUP climbed into fifth in the new D2CSC Atlantic Region Poll this week.
The IUP men are 18-8 and 13-5 in the PSAC. They’ve won two in a row and they beat the Griffins 81-73 the first time they played. IUP hit fifteen three-pointers in that game, spreading out the long-range marksmanship among six-shooters. Seton Hill is 13-11, and 8-10 in the conference.
The first set of NCAA Atlantic Region Rankings will be released this afternoon.
Tonight’s doubleheader begins at 5:15, with the ladies tipping off at 5:30 on 92.5 FM, U92.
