First responders were busy on Sunday and early this morning with multiple incidents, including three vehicle accidents.
One of those accidents was a T-bone-style collision at the intersection of Ben Franklin Road, Warren Road and Indian Springs Road in White Township Sunday night. Indiana Fire Association members were called out at 7:57 PM. Officials say both cars were disabled, and crews had to clean up some liquid spills. While Citizens’ Ambulance was on the scene, no one reportedly went to the hospital. State police were also dispatched and have not released any information on the crash.
Two fire departments were dispatched at 9:58 PM for a crash that happened in Young Township. Indiana County 911 reported that the crash was reported on Route 286 West and Coal Run/McIntyre and Iselin/West Lebanon fire departments were dispatched, along with State Police and Lifestat EMS. No additional details on the crash are available at this time.
And no injuries were reported in a vehicle accident that happened at 4:11 this morning on Route 119 South in Center Township. Homer City fire department was dispatched for that incident.
Crews were also called out on Sunday for downed utility lines on Mulligan Hill Road in West Wheatfield Township at 9:40. Clyde fire department was called out for that report. Pine Township fire department was called out to assist a medic unit for an incident on Route 553 in Pine Township at 12:13 PM. Indiana firefighters were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm on Clairvaux Drive in White Township at 4:01 PM and Rossiter firefighters were called out for what was termed by Indiana County 911 as a miscellaneous incident on Locust Lane in Canoe Township at 8:15 PM.
