Three vehicle accidents were reported over the last 24 hours by Indiana County 911.
The first vehicle accident was reported Sunday at 1:35 PM on Indiana Street in Plumville Borough. The crash was investigated by State Police, Plumville Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance. The second was just 15 minutes later in Green Township on Hemlock Road. Commodore fire department, Veterans EMS and state police were dispatched. The third was at 3:59 PM along Airport Road in Cherryhill Township. That accident brought out Clymer Fire Department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police. Details on these incidents have not been released.
Among the other calls reported on Sunday, a structure fire was called in at 8:35 AM on Pine Avenue in Cherryhill Township. Clymer, Cherryhill, Indiana and Commodore fire departments were dispatched, along with the Hope and Indiana RIT Teams, and Citizens Ambulance. Clymer fire officials said that when they arrived at the scene and found that the heat tape on a water pipe melted through to the insulation of the home and it caught fire, but crews were able to put any fire out quickly with minimal damage reported. Crews were on the scene for 1-2 hours, and some fire departments were cancelled en route. No injuries were reported.
