Pennsylvania’s flu rate took a big leap last week, adding 9,283 cases. That’s 1,271 more new cases a week after the rate had dropped by 71. The state has registered 101,638 cases of the flu this season.
The number of flu deaths rose from 206 to 245.
Indiana County’s flu cases increased by 56, to 500 for the season, which dates to the first week of October. The county had added 21 cases the week before.
For the second straight week, the county’s RSV count rose by three, to 129.
