Several plea hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court.
One of the hearings will be for 33-year-old Jonathan Bradley Green of Home, who was charged with theft by deception and retail theft from June 22nd of last year, and with theft by unlawful taking and unauthorized use of an access device in a case from December of 2019. Police say charges in the 2019 case came after Green stole a bank card of a 52-year-old man from Home and used it to buy items between December 16th and 26th.
Also due for multiple sentencing hearings today is 34-year-old Jonathan Bradley Green, who has addresses in both Indiana and Latrobe. In all three cases, he was charged with retail theft, but one case from January 8th of this year had an additional charge of theft by deception.
Also a formal arraignment hearing is set for today in front of Senior Judge William Martin for John Joseph Styslinger of Cherry Tree, who is charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a controlled substance. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop on October 20th of 2020. Officers had spotted brass knuckles in the vehicle along with suspected drugs, a digital scale and a supply of re-sealable bags. Charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic charge were withdrawn at lower court.
