Gov. Tom Wolf has announced two major changes regarding his staff.
Gov. Wolf has announced that his Chief of Staff Mike Brunelle is stepping down. Brunelle served in this position since 2017 and is leaving to take a job in the private sector. Wolf said he’s proud of Mike’s work and his contribution to his administration. Deputy Chief of Staff Elene Cross will now take the helm.
Another key departure is that of Budget Secretary Jen Swalis, who joined the Governor’s cabinet in January 2019 at the start of his second term. Swalis will step down at the end of July when she will be succeeded by Special Advisor Gregory Thall.
