HOCKEY
Forward Landon Wilson scored Indiana’s first two goals and defenseman Andrew Kobak scored twice in the third period as the Indians wiped out first-place Quaker Valley on the road last night, 4-1. After Quaker Valley opened the scoring at 7:23 of the first period with a goal by Luke Koehler, Wilson scored off an assist by Carter Mock at 15:13, then he scored again at 3:47 in the second period, with assists by Gabe Nettleton and Garrett Goodrich. Kobak’s two goals in the third period put the game out of reach for Quaker Valley. Mock assisted on both of them, and Wilson also had an assist, making three-point nights for both Wilson and Mock. Luke Rowe stopped 38 of 39 shots for the win in goal.
With the win, Indiana pulled to within a point of Quaker Valley for first place in the Class A Gold Division, but Indiana has only two games left on its regular season schedule while Quaker Valley has three.
