Women’s coach Craig Carey dressed only eight players and three of them fouled out. He’s short-handed even without the loss of Tierra Preston to a knee injury, so his replacements have to step up.
Saturday will be Alumni Day and Faith Night, and it will be a tough matchup for both the IUP women and men. Gannon’s women have won twenty in a row and are ranked second in the nation, They’re coming off a 57-54 win over Edinboro in which Sam Pirosko scored her 2,000th career point.
The Gannon men are ranked eighth in the nation. They blasted Edinboro 124-82 last night.
Gannon’s women beat IUP on January 13th, 68-52 and their men beat the Crimson Hawks 84-58.
