GIRLS BASKETBALL
Bella Antonacci scored 22 points, hitting five three-pointers, to lead Indiana over Woodland Hills, 44-34. Indiana scored only 12 points in the first half but surged ahead in the final two quarters. Indiana is 15-5 overall and 10-1 in 5A Section 1, clinching a share of the Section title last night with a chance to clinch it outright on Thursday against Plum.
HOCKEY
Garrett Goodrich scored a goal with exactly a minute left in the third period to propel Indiana to a 5-4 come-from-behind win over Montour. Trailing 4-3 in the third period, Indiana got a game-tying hat trick goal from Landin Wilson at the 12:43 mark and Goodrich’s game-winner at 16:00. Wilson scored a goal in each period and Gabe Nettleton added a first period goal. Goodrich had a goal and an assist and Phil Bell had two assists. Luke Rowe had 19 saves to get the win.
Indiana is tied with Mars for second place in the Class A Gold Division, three points behind Quaker Valley. They’ll play at Quaker Valley on Thursday night, and then close the regular season with two home games, on the 15th against Meadville and the 22nd against Greensburg Salem.
