Former Pitt defensive end Jaylen Twyman was shot four times in Washington DC over the weekend, but will fully recover.
Twyman, a sixth-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings this year, was visiting a family member when he was shot while sitting in a car. The wounds are described as “superficial exit wounds” by his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and he will not need surgery.
The oddsmakers at SportsBettingDime.com say the Pitt Panthers will have the second-easiest schedule of all of the ACC teams this season, after Boston College. Pitt opens against UMass on September 4th. Georgia Tech is rated as having the most difficult schedule.
Penn State’s schedule is rated the seventh-toughest in the Big Ten.
