State police have issued reports on two accidents, one of which resulted in injuries to a Penn Run woman.
Police say that at 9:45 yesterday morning, 69-year-old Kathy Beilchick failed to yield and made a left turn at South 6th Street and Indian Springs Road in front of oncoming traffic, colliding with an SUV operated by 29-year-old Kaley Scanlan of Loretto.
Beilchick was taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Scanlan was not hurt.
The other accident happened shortly before 8:30 Sunday night on Lucerne Road Extension, just off Route 119 in Center Township.
State police say 33-year-old Brice Carnahan of Homer City made a careless turn and crashed his pickup truck into a small embankment. The truck overturned and Carnahan fled the scene. Police were able to locate him about two hours after the crash. He was uninjured.
