IUP women’s tennis returned to the courts Saturday, opening the dual meet portion of the schedule with a 5-4 loss to Carnegie Mellon indoors at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
IUP’s veteran tandem of Lydia Vlachou and Katy Graydon moved to 7-1 overall on the season with an 8-4 win at number two doubles. Graydon also added a singles victory and freshman Veronica Sirci made her debut for IUP, joining Hannah Beitat for an 8-2 win at number three doubles.
