No one was hurt in a fire in Clymer on Saturday.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Clymer, Cherryhill and Comodore fire departments, along with RIT teams from Indiana and Cambria and Citizens Ambulance, for a structure fire on 6th Street in Clymer Borough at 10:51 PM on Saturday.
Clymer fire officials say the fire was electrical in nature. The family living there, along with their pets, was displaced temporarily and is living with nearby relatives while an electrician checks the house over for the exact cause. Once the exact cause is determined and the electrician deems it safe, the family can come home.
Sunday was somewhat busy for first responders, as Indiana Fire Association was dispatched for two fire alarm activations, one on Wayne Avenue in White Township and the other on North 6th Street in Indiana Borough.
Emergency crews were also called out at 8:20 last night for a reported vehicle accident on Route 119 in Burrell Township. Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters responded along with Citizens’ Ambulance.
