The Penns Manor School Board is looking to adopt its budget for the 2021-2022 school year at tonight’s meeting.
On the proposed agenda for tonight is the acceptance of the budget, which carries with it a .648 mil real estate tax increase. The proposed revenues for the budget come to $18,526,839 and expenditures come to $18,569,280. The district plans to use $42,441 from the district’s general fund balance to cover the deficit.
The board also looks to approve a health and safety plan for the 2021-2022 school year tonight, along with an Emergency Instruction Time Template. Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting is a dual enrollment agreement with Mount Aloysius College, renewal of the board’s membership to the PSBA, and the purchase of worker’s compensation insurance.
