Police in Blairsville Borough have arrested a man who was wanted in Las Vegas.
Officers say that shortly before 6:00 PM yesterday, police conducted a traffic stop along Route 22 for a vehicle driving without taillights. During the stop, police discovered that the driver was 41-year-old Christopher Harris of Johnstown. Police also determined that he was wanted by authorities in Las Vegas on felony charges of obtaining/using a person’s identity to avoid or delay prosecution.
He was taken into custody and charged with arrest prior to requisition and was placed in Indiana County Jail to await arraignment in front of District Judge Tony Sottile and extradition back to Nevada.
