A Clymer woman was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana.
Clymer Borough Police report that the incident happened at 1:33 Tuesday morning in the 600 block of Franklin Street. 56-year-old Debra Freno was seen behind the wheel of a black Jeep by police who followed her to the intersection of Penn and Wilson Streets, where a traffic stop was initiated due to the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police discovered that Freno was driving and was under the influence at the time. She was released on-scene to a sober adult.
A criminal complaint charging her with driving under the influence of a controlled substance is being filed through District Judge Christopher Welch’s office.
