Roansey Contreras was outstanding again, but the Curve lost to Erie, 4-3 last night on a walkoff single in the bottom of the 9th. The Curve started the inning with a 3-2 lead, but the SeaWolves tied it on an error and a double, then won it on a two-out walk, an infield single, an intentional walk, and a base hit.
Contreras threw seven innings, giving up two runs (one earned) and two hits, with ten strikeouts and a walk. Rodolfo Castro continued his hot streak, getting two hits including a home run, and raising his batting average to .301. Mason martin also had two hits, including a double.
Travis McGregor starts for the Curve tonight in the second game of the road trip to Erie.
