For the second straight day, Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi got a 2022 verbal commitment from a New York high school player, as Addison Copeland III, a wide receiver out of Buffalo, announced his decision yesterday.
Copeland is 6-3 and 190 pounds. He’s rated the fifth-best football player in all of New York and the top receiver, according to Rivals.com. He chose Pitt over some big-time programs, with offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, Boston College, Indiana, South Carolina, and Buffalo.
