An Indiana man, who was sentenced on May 28 for drug-related crimes, will serve time in a state correctional institution for selling heroin in Indiana County in 2019.
District Attorney Bob Manzi announced that 34-year-old Joshua Duffy entered guilty pleas on May 28 for charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia, and will now serve 2 to 6 years in state prison for those crimes, which he was committed to today.
Manzi credited efforts by troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police, saying that troopers were able to stop Duffy from selling heroin in the community. He adds “the members of our law enforcement continue to work diligently towards identifying, investigating and arresting drug dealers in our country.”
Manzi also reminds residents to report any information relating to drugs or drug selling, to contact either his office, a local police department or Pennsylvania State Police.
