A couple of lefties match up for the second game of the series tonight in Washington, with the Pirates starting Tyler Anderson (3-6, 4.52 ERA) against the Nationals’ Patrick Corbin (3-5, 6.21 ERA). 6:40 airtime on WCCS.
The Pirates’ Adam Frazier is in second place in National League All-Star voting for second base, behind the Braves’ Ozzie Albies. Frazier is at 12 percent to Albies’ 17 percent. Phase 1 of the voting ends June 24th, with the top three at each position making it to Phase 2, plus the top 15 in the outfield.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of Toronto leads all players in the All-Star voting so far.
