No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Rayne Township. State police say 31-year-old Jessica Keller of Forest Hills and 21-year-old Brittany Jennings of Starford were driving west on Route 286 in Rayne township when Keller pulled off to the right at the Sleepy Hollow Road intersection. When she tried to merge back onto 286, her car was hit by Jennings Car. Keller’s car was disabled.
State police say they have arrested a man suspected of stealing various items from a car in Cherryhill Township on June 4th. Police say that the suspect, identified as a 23-year-old man from Northern Cambria arrived at the home of the victim, a 27-year-old Clymer man, on October 4th and took Clonzepam tablets, a Hi-Point Mansfield 9 mm gun, $200 worth of ammunition, and $1200 in cash. The items were later recovered at the suspect’s residence. The suspect is now in police custody.
State police are investigating the theft of some license plates that happened between June 7th and 9th. Police say that between 11:00 PM on the 7th and 7:00 PM on the 9th, someone took two license plates from vehicles belonging to a 58-year-old Heilwood woman. The plates were on cars at a property on Pine Street.
