As the Steelers prepare for next week’s mandatory minicamp, many of the team’s veterans have been blending with the rookies for voluntary training sessions in recent weeks, and those “OTAs” continued at the South Side complex yesterday.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph told reporters afterward that he is learning a lot working with new coach Mike Sullivan, after the promotion of last year’s QB coach, Matt Canada, to offensive coordinator.
Rudolph, who signed a contract extension in April, says Sullivan is a very detail-oriented coach.
Rudolph is the only Steelers quarterback under contract for the 2022 season. He said Pittsburgh is his home now, so he was comfortable signing again.
