Indiana lost to Greensburg-Salem last night 59-50. It’s the first section win of the season for Greensburg-Salem. Stanford Webb lead IHS with 14 points, while Aaron Webb had 10. Greensburg-Salem’s Ryan Burkart led all scorers with 25 points.
Conemaugh Township suffers its first lost of the season, losing to Portage 54-49. The Mustangs had a combined 10 3-pointers on the night. Bode Layo lead Portage with 18 points. Ethan Matera had 21 points for Connemaugh Township.
Conemaugh Valley beat United 72-67. Four Conemaugh Valley players scored in double digits. Jaylen Henry led the Blue Jays with 20 points. Carter Payne led the Lions with 20 points.
Marion Center edged Penns Manor 53-51. Cameron Pack led the Stingers with 18 points, while the Comets’ Carter Smith had 25 on the night.
West Shamokin beat Homer-Center 59-43. Brayden Rogers was 7-9 from the charity stripe and led all scorers with 20 points. Max Voyda of Homer Center had 13 points.
