Steelers broadcaster Tunch Ilkin is hanging up his headset after 23 years as the color analyst for the Black and Gold.
Ilkin – who spent 37 total years with Pittsburgh – said in an interview with Bob Labriola that he wants to focus on spending more time with his family and getting treatment after being diagnosed with ALS in October 2020. He thanks team president Art Rooney II, the Steelers organization and the fans for continued support and prayers during this time.
No word is available yet on who will replace him in the broadcasting booth.
