Pennsylvania State Police have started to release some reports of driving under the influence that happened during the holiday weekend.
A DUI was reported on Route 22 east at Clark Road in West Wheatfield Township on May 29th at 10:21 PM An 18-year-old woman from Johnstown was seen driving while under the influence of a controlled substance that was in plain view. At 2:21 PM on the 30th, a 19-year-old woman from Meshoppen in Wyoming County in the northeast region of Pennsylvania was seen driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of that substance along with related paraphernalia at the same intersection.
A third DUI case was reported on Monday at 1:13 AM at the intersection of Fire Academy Road and Green Road in Center Township. Police say 49-year-old Ronald Trale of Homer City was seen in the area driving on the wrong side of the road. Trale was arrested on suspicion of DUI, and charges of DUI are pending the results of a blood test.
