The Penguins have made a couple of early off-season moves, including relinquishing the rights to 2017 6th-round draft pick defenseman Antti Palojarvi. According to league rules, he had to sign a contract with Pittsburgh by 5 PM yesterday to stay with the organization.
The Pens’ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton farm team has signed forward Samuel Houde, to a one-year contract for next season. He did not sign with Montreal after being taken in the 5th round in 2018.
