The East beat the West, 17-10, in the Pennsylvania State Football Coaches Association East-West All-Star small school football game yesterday in Harrisburg.
Homer-Center’s Ben Schmidt, an IUP recruit, was on the West roster as a defensive back. Fellow IUP recruit Jack Krug of Brookville played quarterback for the West and was 5-for-11 passing for 125 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown pass and an interception in the end zone late in the game.
