A Blairsville man was killed yesterday morning in an ATV accident in Derry Township, Westmoreland County.
State police at Kiski Valley say 25-year-old Joshua Shugars died at about 10 AM when he crashed on Pipers Road. Police say speed and careless driving appear to have been factors in the crash. Shugars was not wearing a helmet or other protective clothing.
Pipers Road is located southwest of Blairsville.
