Emergency crews were busy with calls on Tuesday as five vehicle accidents were reported to Indiana County 911.
The first accident was reported around 12:40 p.m., where Big Run fire crews were dispatched along with state police and Citizens Ambulance to Steffey Church Road in Banks Township. Armaugh and Clyde fire crews later responded to an accident along Route 22 Highway East in West Wheatfield Township around 2:15 p.m. Homer City fire crews were dispatched a little over 30 minutes later to an accident along Route 56 Highway East in Center Township. No details regarding those accidents have been reported yet.
Injuries were reported in a crash that happened after 4:15 p.m. in Rayne Township. Fire crews from Marion Center and Clymer were dispatched to a two-car crash near Innovations of Home along Wynkoop and Black Farm Road. Officials did not release the names of those injured, however the wife of one of the victim’s commented on Marion Center’s Facebook page that her husband’s truck was rear-ended by the other car, and that he is doing well and experience slight soreness.
Indiana fire crews responded for the final accident along Route 119 Highway North in Rayne Township around 10:40 p.m., however no details on the crash are available yet.
