Less than 24 hours after state police in Indiana released their first monthly “Five Most Wanted” list, state police have announced that they have had their first arrest of a suspect on that list.
State police say that after the list was published, they received numerous tips from members of the public on the location of 28-year-old Benjamin Joel Mains, who was wanted on a charge of attempted residential burglary that happened in Homer City. Police say they found him around 4:30 PM at a location in Homer City Borough. Mains was taken into custody without incident.
He was placed in Indiana County Jail to await his arraignment.
The remaining four suspects remain at large. Click on the link below to see the updated “Five Most Wanted” poster.
