The Purchase Line School Board will meet tonight and the board will deal with 39 policies in some form.
20 policies will be up for approval with the majority of those policies undergoing revision. Those to be modified include policies on nondiscrimination of qualified students with disabilities, a policy to allow instructional materials to be reviewed by parents, tobacco and vaping products, uncompensated leave and others. Six of the policies to be dealt with tonight will be deleted from the district’s policy as they were deemed redundant by other policies currently on the books.
Also on the agenda tonight is the approval of a resolution that would authorize the district administration to fund the Municipal Capital Reserve Fund for capital and nonrecurring expenses in the amount of $1,118,051. The board will also look at approving a new bus stop in the 13000 block of Route 256 East area.
The meeting starts at 7:00 at the district board room and will be streamed through Zoom Video Chat.
