PennDOT says Hill Road (Route 1017) in Green Township will be closed between 7 AM and 3 PM through Thursday of this week for bridge repairs. The work started yesterday.
Hill Road is located off Cookport Road, southwest of the fairgrounds.
There is a lot of road patching going on in Green Township this week, on Route 286, Route 580, Wandin Road, Pine Flats Road, Greenwich Road, Valley Road, Starford Road, and Grisemore Road.
PennDOT is also patching roads in East Wheatfield, West Wheatfield, and Cherryhill townships, and there is a pipe replacement project happening this week on Tunnelton Road in Young and Conemaugh townships.
