The NFL has postponed Sunday’s Steelers-Bills Wildcard Playoff Game due to the harsh winter weather expected in Buffalo on Sunday.
News media in Buffalo confirmed a report first broke by NFL Insider Ian Rappaport on X that New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who said the cancellation comes out of concern for everyone’s safety. Near white-out conditions are expected in the Orchard Park area on Sunday, with high winds, very low wind-chills and lake effect snow factored in. One to three feet of snow is expected in the area and a state of emergency has already been put in place for western New York state along with Erie County.
The game will be played on Monday at 4:30 PM from Highmark Stadium. Pre-game will air at 2:30 on WDAD 100.3 FM and AM 1450.
