Game four of the NHL East playoffs is this afternoon and the Penguins look to go up 3-1 over the New York Islanders on the road.
Pittsburgh’s coming off a 5-4 win over the Islanders on Thursday, a win that saw key goals by Jeff Carter and Brandon Tanev, with Tanev’s being the deciding factor.
Coach Mike Sullivan reflected on Tanev’s recent play and said that he is always a tough skater for opposing team’s to defend.
Sullivan also talked about the team as a whole, saying that while he is impressed with how the Penguins have bounced back in recent games, they can always do better.
Zach Aston-Reese credited the Penguins’ ability to bounce back to a positive atmosphere.
