The Altoona Curve rallied late in Friday’s game to beat the Harrisburg Senators, 4-2. This earned the Curve their 10th win in their last 12 games.
Rodolfo Castro – who celebrated his 24th birthday yesterday – gave the Curve an early lead with an RBI single in the fourth inning. He would finish the game 3-for-4 with a double and a triple.
After the Senators tied the game in the seventh, Brendt Citta provided the go-ahead two-run single in the eighth for Altoona.
Max Kranick allowed just one earned run while striking out eight over five innings. Cam Vieaux earned the win in relief with two strong innings. Hunter Stratton collected his second save of the season with a perfect ninth.
The Curve and Senators return to action tonight at 6 p.m.
